Chef Hung

Chef Hung is a curious Chef, having experienced and achieved a lot in his relatively short 16-year career. 

Starting his apprenticeship with Celebrity Chef Ian Curley, he later became his Sous chef at The Point, Albert Park. During his time working overseas, Hung worked for David Thompson at the first-ever Thai Michelin star restaurant in Europe, Nahm, London.

Another highlight throughout his career was getting the rare chance to be trained by Guy Grossi’s father, Pietro, refining his Italian dishes and cooking techniques. 

In recent times, Chef Hung has applied his fine dining experience to bespoke catering, trained food tech teachers and their students all across Victoria as well as volunteered his time to a local community foundation.
