Intertain chefs are selected from some of the world’s best restaurants, demonstrating expertise with at least five years industry experience. All chefs are thoroughly vetted through a strict interview process, including a background police check and essential food handling certificates. This sets a standard for Intertain to provide a quality-dining experience.

Yes, all of our chefs allow for dietary restrictions. Please let us know in your booking form or enquire with our concierge.

Most of our chefs have children’s menus. If they do not, please enquire with our concierge service for a selection of chefs who cater for children.

Our chefs cater for a variety of occasions including; seated plated, seated family style, canapé and high tea.

Our chefs offer personalized and set dining for all occasions from birthdays to baby showers, housewarming’s, casual get togethers, boardroom luncheons and investor meetings. We have a range of chefs that cater anywhere from canapés, to BBQ and seafood. Whatever your event, Intertain will recommend a suitable chef to make your event unique and memorable.

Our experts will pair your menu with exclusive wine options made available through our partner, The Little Wine Room. Please enquire with our concierge if you wish to have access to this service at no extra charge.

No, we do not presently offer glassware or crockery rental.

We bring the restaurant experience to your home or private venue. Venues will need to have basic kitchen facilities such as a working stove, refrigerator, oven, a power source and sink. If you don’t have a suitable venue, our concierge team would be happy to assist you with locating one through one of our venue partners.

Cookware - pot and pan
Utensils - ladle, locking tongs, spatula, slotted spoon
Servingware - plates, bowls, platters
Cutlery - full set of cutlery to include fork, knife, spoon and tablespoon
Drinkware - glass, mugs or cups
Appliances - electrical outlet, stove, oven
Other items - knives, chopping board, colander and grater -
It is recommended to have a selection of plates, bowls, and platters for each guest. We would advise for you to discuss this with your Intertain chef prior to your booking date as each chef and menu will have different requirements.

Most chefs are comfortable to work within 2 working days of the event. Confirmation of RSVP’s and necessary dietary restrictions are needed for us to confirm a booking. If you have a last minute booking request less than 2 days before the event date, please inform the concierge via phone.

You will receive an invoice with payment details to your provided email account. Please make payment by direct bank transfer or contact our concierge by phone for credit card payment. Your booking will be confirmed upon receiving payment.

We accommodate last minute requests. Please contact our concierge to enquire about your request. Additional costs and/or surcharges may apply for last minute changes.

Most of our chefs require a minimum of 6 people or more. However, there are a number of chefs who are willing to take bookings for 1 or 2 people. Please contact our concierge for enquiry.

7 days or more prior to the event: 75% refund.
Less than 7 days: Non-refundable, however if ingredients have not been bought, a re-booking may be possible. -
Major international credit cards, PayPal and direct bank transfers are accepted.

Yes, full payment is required to confirm a booking.

We would recommend you pay as soon as possible to secure a booking with your desired chef. Until payment has been confirmed, your desired chef is not guaranteed for the event.

Split bill payment is not currently on offer.

Intertain chefs typically arrive between 1-2 hours before service of the event. You will receive a call from your selected chef 2 days before your event to confirm details.

On the unlikely occasion, the chef is required to call you if there are any unexpected schedule changes.

Intertain chefs will ensure your kitchen is clean and returned to its original state before leaving.

We would love to hear how your dining experience went and want to hear what you loved and what we can improve on. A feedback form will be sent to you within 24 hours after your event date to help us improve future dining experiences.
