  • Introduction

    Intertain’s goal is to unify the intimacy of a dinner party, creating a worry-free environment where a professional chef creates an amazing meal at an extraordinary location (your home).

    Through the Intertain web platform, diners can select from a variety of cuisine ranging from Japanese to American barbeque via chefs’ profile and menu. Through its seamless booking experience, diners will provide details about dinner booking including special dietary requirements. Chef will accept booking and will shop, prepare, cook, serve and clean after the meal providing an effortless dining experience.

    For the diners, the host can focus on entertaining guests in the house without the hassle of cooking.

    When you buy an Intertain gift voucher, the lucky recipient gets a beautiful card to spend on a dining experience of their choice on www.intertain.com.au. 

    Value to be determined by you. Vouchers start from $100 value, and are valid for 12 months.

  • Booking a Dinner

    This applies to the recipient of gift voucher.

    • Please call or email Concierge and quote the Voucher ID.
    • Let Concierge know your date of booking and select chef and menu via www.intertain.com.au.
    • Concierge will get back to you with your chosen chef’s availability.
    • Provide details of dinner party with address, number of guests, serving time of first dish and potential dietary requirements of any guests attending the dinner.
    • You will receive a confirmation of booking and a courtesy reminder 48 hours before the actual dinner. The chef will also contact you 24-48 hours before your din­ner to confirm every detail.

  • Terms

    • Voucher cannot be reloaded (i.e. the value cannot be increased or added to).
    • Voucher cannot be redeemed or exchanged for cash.
    • Voucher must be redeemed within validity period (12 months of voucher purchase)
    • Voucher is only valid in Melbourne and Sydney.
    • Voucher is only applicable to one dinner booking per voucher.
    • Voucher is subjected to the availability of chefs upon booking.

    If you wish a hard copy of this beautiful card to be sent to your recipient or yourself, please let us know.

  • Depending on menu. In your booking option, select only 1 person.

  • A basic minimal kitchen should include the following: 

    Cookware - pot and pan
    Utensils - ladle, locking tongs, spatula, slotted spoon
    Servingware - plates, bowls, platters
    Cutlery - full set of cutlery to include fork, knife, spoon and tablespoon
    Drinkware - glass, mugs or cups
    Appliances - electrical outlet, stove, oven
    Other items - knives, chopping board, colander and grater
